Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information RevvU handles, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 9 September 2026

1. Who we are

RevvU provides review-management software for tradespeople and service businesses. For questions about this policy or your personal information, contact Revvuhelp@hotmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use RevvU, we may collect:

Please only provide customer information that you are authorised to use.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to create and administer accounts, deliver review requests and follow-ups, display connected review information, provide AI-assisted reply features, process subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent misuse and improve RevvU.

Our lawful bases may include performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate interests such as service security and improvement, and consent where the law requires it.

4. Customer data and review requests

Businesses using RevvU decide which customer details to upload and when to send a request. For that information, the subscribing business is normally the data controller and RevvU acts as its service provider or processor. Users are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving any notices required before adding or contacting their customers.

5. Who receives information

We share information only where needed to run the service, comply with law or protect rights. Recipients may include hosting, authentication, communications, AI, Google Business Profile and payment providers. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by RevvU. Each provider processes information under its own terms and safeguards.

6. International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards designed to protect personal information during those transfers.

7. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as it is needed to provide RevvU, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and protect the service. Retention periods vary by record type. You can request account deletion by contacting us, subject to information we must keep by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their login details and notify us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access.

9. Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, and receive portable data. These rights can depend on the circumstances. Contact us to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Cookies and similar technology

The RevvU website uses only technology needed to provide and secure the service unless we tell you otherwise. Stripe and other external services may use their own cookies when you visit their pages. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and provide appropriate choices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RevvU develops or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
